Happy 2013 New Year!

Happy 2013 New Years! Really?

I can't believe that another year has already gone by and I feel like it was just a month or so ago that we were ringing in 2012.

Well, I thought I would make a few 2013 New Years cards so I got online and searched high and low trying to get some inspiration for a Stampin' Up! New Years card. I have to tell you that I was really disappointed because the cards I found were few and far between. So I decide that I would just come up with a few designs of my own.

Here is what I came up with:

I pretty much created the mask myself. What I did was punched out a leaf from the Blossom Petals Builder (121808) and then I traced around it about 1/2" away from the edge. Then I cut it out and punched out the center with the leaf. It actually put a bit of a scallop design on the top because the leaves are so close to each other in the punch but I thought that gave the mask a better look then just having a straight edge.
I used Elegant Eggplant card stock (105126) and layered it with a piece of Floral District DSP (126919). I used the Apotheczary Accents Framelits (127003) with Rose Red card stock (102544) and layered my mask on top of that. I added some Basic Rhinestone Jewels (119246) to the mask to give it some bling. The feathers are from my crafting stash. Since I didn't purchase the new single stamp for New Years, I used the numbers from the Patterned Party stamp set (123067 C) and used the 1/2" circle punch (119869) and the 3/4" circle punch (119873) behind it. I also used Stampin' Dimensional (104430) on the numbers and the Sentiment. Oh yea, I used Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set (115370 W) for the Happy New Year! sentiment.
Well, I hope you like this one.

This one is pretty much the same with the exception of the placement of the numbers. I offset the numbers just to make it a little more playful.

I actually found this baby punch art on Pintrest so I got that and created this 2013 New Years card.
I used Rich Razzleberry card stock (115316) and agian I use the Floral District DSP (126919). I used the Bigz Lattice die (115958) with the Tangerine Tango card stock (111349) and Baja Breeze card stock (111352) and Rose Red card stock (102544). I also used the Patterned Party stamp set (123067 C) and used the 1/2" circle punch (119869) and the 3/4" circle punch (119873) behind it. I also used Stampin' Dimensional (104430) on the numbers and the Sentiment. Oh yea, I used Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set (115370 W) for the Happy New Year! sentiment.

Here are three more that were my first ones I designed

I used the Embellished Events (126497 C) on these cards. I used the Gold Glimmer Paper (127885) which is new in the 2012-2013 Holiday Catalog and the Silver Glimmer Paper ((124005) for the bubbles in the glasses. The hat on the second card is a punch art hat and the balloons on the third card are balloon punches that I have on hand.

Well, I guess we can now add these cards to the cyber world of the 2013 New Years cards. LOL
