I'm Back ...

I'm not sure if you've missed me or not, but I've not had a blog post for almost a year. I can't believe it's been that long, but it has. There are a few reasons for my absence one of which I had to take a break from Stampin' Up! for personal reasons. During the time that I was away from Stampin' Up! I did  a lot of thinking because I wanted to make sure that if I got back to being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, it was going to be for all the right reasons.
I've had a lot of ups and downs in the past 5 years of being a demonstrator but mostly downs in the latter part of me being a demonstrator. I lost all but two of my customers and no matter how much I communications I put out there, I was not getting anyone to come to a workshop nor was I getting anyone to host a class. So I had to make a decision to let it go for a while to see if this was what I really wanted to do or not.
Now Stampin' Up! is all about the sales as any company would be. So I tried to do my best to sell as much as I could but then stamping was fast becoming more or a chore than a hobby and I didn't like that so I decided to leave for a while.
Now I'm back and I'm sure this is what I want to do no matter what.

I still have only two customers who have stuck by me through it all and I love them for it. I am trying to obtain more interested people to this craft but it's not easy. I live in a very small NV town and it's hard to get customers especially when there is another demonstrator in the area (who has all the customers). So I've decided to just do this for myself and if I get customers along the way, then that's great. I am not going to stress about getting the sales or having classes and workshops anymore. I love stamping, creating and teaching. But if I can only have two out of the three, I'll take it!

I am hoping to keep up with the going ons of Stampin' Up! and pass on the promotions and greats sales to you by posting here. I will even post cards and other projects that I make and if you see something you would like to purchase, feel free to visit my online store.
I will try to keep you informed on what is going on and deadlines of special offers as well. But I will not pressure anyone to follow me or feel like they have to purchase from me.
I love Stampin' Up! products so I will use them for the most part, but there may be some cards or other projects you'll see here that are not Stampin' Up! I just don't want to feel tied to one line of product anymore because I think I can create better without the boundaries.

So with that being said, I hope you'll stay with me and comment on my post whenever you feel lead to do so.
I'm sorry for staying away for so long, I'll try not to do that again and I'll try to post at least once a week. Thank you to those of you who do follow me.

Welcome back. Sometimes you have to take the journey before you know what the trip is about, so good for you for taking the step. I wish you luck, and all the best!
